We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Industrial Deafness legal team, in Blackburn. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys by conducting legal research, preparing documents, and managing case files. This position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of legal procedures. Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation by compiling evidence and preparing exhibits.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as required.
  • Manage schedules and deadlines using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Word.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with legal standards.

Skills

  • Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Highly organised with a meticulous attention to detail.
