Accommodation & Schedule
Accommodation: own separate living space, recently renovated to a very high standard, with own private entrance from the street. Double bedroom, private bathroom, and full kitchen. The separate family kitchen, living spaces, and bedroom are on other floors.
Working days and hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 6 pm.
Responsibilities
- Childcare – 20 hours per week:
- 7–9 am: helping prepare the baby for the day while parents get ready for work.
- 9 am–4 pm: baby cared for by nanny, who trains you on routine.
- 4–6 pm: playing with the baby and feeding him supper before parents return.
- General cleaning of common rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
- Weekly or bi‑weekly vacuuming, floor washing, toilet bleaching, interior window cleaning, dusting, trash removal, linen changes.
- Maintaining supply of food, pantry and cleaning products.
Qualifications & Personal Traits
- Female.
- Speaks English fluently.
- Warm, calm personality; responsible; trustworthy.
- Experience caring for children/babies.
- Housekeeping experience.
- Attention to detail; neat; clean.
- Discrete; knows how to fade into the background and work around the family.
- Non‑smoker.
Nice-to-have
- License to drive in the UK (family would provide an automatic car).
- Speak French.
- Willing to travel with the family 1–2 times per year (travel and accommodation paid for).
