Responsibilities include tending to all childcare and school-related duties along with household management, shopping, overseeing contractors, etc.
- Childcare duties: collection from school, arranging social activities, booking clubs, liaising with the school, sending emails, scheduling appointments, handling children’s laundry, wardrobes, and tidying children’s rooms.
- Run errands and assist with ad-hoc tasks such as online orders and deliveries, post office, dry cleaners, holiday research, flight bookings, and household organisation.
- With a part-time cleaner handling most housekeeping tasks, the nanny is expected to 'muck in' when needed—empty dishwasher, wipe down sinks, hoovering, etc., keeping the house tidy between cleaner visits.
- Prepare light meals for the boys.
Working Hours & Compensation:
- Term times: Monday to Friday from 2pm until 6.30pm (22.5h/week)
- School holidays: Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm (50h/week)
- Salary: £42k gross per year (approx. £2,700 net per month). The family offers a fixed monthly salary, ensuring the nanny receives the same income throughout both term time and school holidays.
- Holiday: 33 days per annum, 20 days chosen by the employer, 13 days chosen by the employee.
Qualifications:
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, and proactive.
- Ability to juggle a varied remit and prioritise with ease and efficiency.
- Driving licence is a plus but not essential.
