What's The Brief:
As Senior Pre-Press Creative, you will bring flawless attention to detail on various final media assets across digital and print, producing final creative and campaign artwork and templates. You will have excellent communication skills and time management, juggling multiple briefs and deadlines when required.
Job Purpose:
We are looking for a talented Creative Artworker with experience in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office to work in our busy Belfast studio. You must have an eye for detail combined with a thorough understanding of print production techniques. You will be adaptable, methodical and respond well to working to tight deadlines. Working closely with our design team, you will carry out the technical implementation of design concepts, producing consistent and accurate artwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and error-free artwork of the highest quality.
- Carefully check work prior to releasing for proof or print production.
- Record all time accurately on our Job Management System Transaction Office.
- Work closely with other members of the team to produce finished artwork for work created by them.
- Keep your line manager updated with any issues or concerns.
- Ensure all policies and procedures in relation to the operation of the studio in respect of time logging, filing and job storage etc. are strictly adhered to.
Essential Experience:
- 5+ years in a fast moving artwork for print role.
- Provide a portfolio demonstrating production capabilities.
- Accuracy and Hawk Eye attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Flexible and co-operative.
- Able to work in a busy environment and have a pragmatic approach to handling pressure.
- Willing to learn, lead and inspire.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in a print based background.
- Experience of working with Synergist or similar job management platform.
- Experience of using Acrobat Reader Plug-in, Enfocus Pitstop.
- Meeting targets and achieving deadlines.
- An understanding of print and the print industry.
- Experience in a graphic design/creative role.
- Experience in creating interactive documents.
- Experience in accessibility and creating accessible documents within Adobe Acrobat would be an advantage.
