The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
We are looking for an Established Buyer who possesses previous experience within Footwear and Accessories with a proven commercial success on the product areas managed. The Buyer will demonstrate high integrity, motivation, and a solution focused approach. The ability to easily transition between planning and execution is key as is a naturally collaborative and positive approach. We would need you to show a strong commercial acumen and be highly numerate with strong analytical skills, able to identify opportunities and pursue them on the department.
Reporting into the Head of Buying you will aim to maximise profit and deliver the premium handwriting and high-quality standards we are renowned for at Phase Eight. Key accountabilities for the role include:
- Working with the Merchandiser to create new season product plans for your department, based on lessons learnt and forward strategy.
- Operate fits with Design, manage any basic technical queries where required with a focus on detail and quality to ensure our premium handwriting and high-quality standards are maintained.
- Formulate phasing, stories and deliver to category targets successfully communicating the vision for specific ranges to other departments such as ecommerce and retail operations.
- Together with the Head of Buying formulate a supply base strategy to meet product requirements, margin, quality and compliance.
