As the Assistant Garment Technologist, you won't just be observing; you'll be keenly involved in ensuring the perfect fit, faultless quality, and technical excellence of our knitwear, jersey, swimwear, beachwear and loungewear from the very first sketch to the moment they reach our customers.
What you'll do:
- Become a fit expert, attending weekly fit sessions, preparing fit lists and ensuring all technical paperwork is ready.
- Ensure quality excellence by making sure every Whistles product meets our quality standards and is fit for purpose. This means you'll also be involved in championing yarn and fabric development and assessing test reports.
- Work closely with our Technical, Design, and Buying teams, assisting in the creation of accurate workbooks and packs for our supply base.
- Be a vital link between our suppliers and internal teams, communicating fit amendments clearly and effectively.
