Working in partnership with HM Prison Service and other key stakeholders, you’ll deliver high-quality clinical assessment, treatment and support to prisoners on their recovery journey.

As a senior Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse, you’ll provide compassionate, professional care in line with the NMC Code of Conduct, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice across all areas of your work. You’ll carry your own caseload, managing complex patient needs and delivering evidence-based interventions to support recovery and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, effective nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Work autonomously while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary and external partners.
