About the role: This part‑time role (18.75 hours per week) supports women experiencing substance misuse and low‑level mental health challenges in a trauma‑informed, gender‑responsive setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver recovery‑focused interventions, practical support and help service users prepare for reintegration into the community.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload and coordinate individual support plans.
- Conduct assessments and develop person‑centred care plans.
- Deliver structured one‑to‑one sessions and facilitate group programmes.
- Provide harm reduction advice and guidance.
- Support release planning and through‑care arrangements.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare, mental health and prison colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service performance targets.
- Undertake second signatory duties and oral swab testing where required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience supporting individuals with substance misuse, mental health or complex needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A proactive, organised and solution‑focused approach.
- Confidence working within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong IT and record‑keeping skills.
- Commitment to completing the Drug and Alcohol Workforce Development Programme (DAWFDP).
