Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day? We’re recruiting a part-time Support Worker (29 hours) to join our dedicated team at Clouds House, Wiltshire. Working within our fully integrated One Team model, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, structured and recovery-focused residential environment that supports clients on their journey to lasting change. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with the Support Worker Team Leader and wider multidisciplinary team, helping to deliver a therapeutic programme built around 12-Step recovery principles and trauma-informed care.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting clients with daily routines, communal living and programme engagement
- Promoting a safe, respectful and structured residential environment
- Monitoring wellbeing and escalating safeguarding or welfare concerns promptly
- Supporting medication administration processes (training provided where needed)
- Keeping accurate records and documentation
- Taking part in handovers, meetings and continuous improvement activity
- Responding professionally to incidents, complaints and client needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in health, social care, residential or recovery settings
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Calm, professional and emotionally resilient approach
- Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Passion for helping others and working as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience in addiction services
- Knowledge of 12-Step recovery models
- Mental health awareness training
- Full UK driving licence
