Looking for work where you can truly make a difference? Join the team at Clouds House as a Support Worker, based at Clouds House, with hours offered on an as and when required basis. You will play a vital role in helping people build lasting recovery in a safe, structured and therapeutic residential environment.

Working within our fully integrated One Team model, you will help reinforce our 12-Step and trauma-informed treatment approach. No two shifts are the same; this is a hands-on, rewarding role where your presence, professionalism and compassion matter every day.

What you will be doing:

  • Supporting clients to engage in daily routines, wellbeing activities and the therapeutic programme
  • Promoting structure, communal responsibilities and positive recovery habits
  • Maintaining a safe, respectful and supportive living environment
  • Monitoring welfare, safeguarding and behavioural concerns, escalating where needed
  • Supporting medication processes (including eMAR where trained)
  • Completing accurate, up-to-date records and handovers
  • Responding calmly and professionally to incidents or client needs
  • Working closely with colleagues across all departments as part of one team

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in health, social care, recovery or residential settings
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Emotional resilience with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A professional, boundaried and compassionate approach
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles
  • Commitment to recovery-focused and trauma-informed practice

Desirable:

  • Experience in addiction or mental health services
  • Knowledge of 12-Step recovery models
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour
  • Full UK Driving Licence
