We’re looking for a passionate Assessment Recovery Worker to join an integrated healthcare team in Sittingbourne on a full-time basis (35 hours per week), working with adults affected by drug and alcohol use. This is a frontline, person-centred role where no two days are the same, you’ll be helping people move forward with their lives through structured support, practical guidance, and meaningful recovery planning.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out assessments, risk management plans, and SMART care plans
- Delivering 1:1 interventions and group work programmes
- Using motivational interviewing techniques to support change and engagement
- Providing harm reduction advice alongside abstinence-based recovery pathways
- Managing a busy caseload, prioritising needs and tracking progress
