The Forge Garage is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Master Diagnostic Technician to join our team at Green Road in Winton. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident technician who enjoys solving complex vehicle faults, takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and wants to become part of a professional, supportive and growing garage group.
The role: As our Master Diagnostic Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Completing advanced diagnostic testing and technical repairs
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and general mechanical work
- Using modern diagnostic equipment and interpreting technical data
- Working with wiring diagrams and manufacturer information
- Supporting other technicians with challenging faults when required
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining clear records of diagnostics, repairs and completed work
- Delivering consistently high standards of workmanship and customer care
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in vehicle diagnostics and technical repairs
- Strong mechanical, electrical and fault-finding knowledge
- Relevant automotive qualifications
- Confidence using a wide range of modern diagnostic equipment
- A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
- A genuine commitment to completing every job to the highest standard
Master Technician qualifications and MOT Tester status would be beneficial, but proven experience and technical ability will also be considered.
