This is an exciting opportunity to join the Communications team at Wembley Stadium on a fixed-term contract until October 2026. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering communications that showcase Wembley as a world-class venue, engaging internal teams, millions of fans, partners, and media audiences. You will support the delivery of a proactive communications strategy, helping to enhance Wembley's reputation across all channels. The role combines strategic communications with hands-on media management at some of the UK's biggest events, making every day fast-paced and varied. With over 50 major events expected this year, particularly between May and September, flexibility for evenings and weekends is essential. Hybrid working is offered, with 2 to 3 days per week at Wembley Stadium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver integrated PR campaigns and communications plans to highlight the stadium's key objectives and milestones.
  • Be a central part of the marcomms team, supporting campaigns for major events, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
  • Draft press releases, statements, and newsletter content to a high editorial standard.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national, international, and specialist media.
  • Monitor media coverage and manage the stadium's media inbox, including photography and filming requests.
  • Act as a primary point of contact to ensure all relevant stadium news reaches staff.
  • Work with and manage PR agencies where relevant to support communications campaigns.
  • Collaborate with FA teams to maximise the stadium's role in achieving organisational goals and delivering successful events.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with on-site media management during events.
  • Provide out-of-hours media support when required.
  • Produce reports and execute additional tasks as needed within the marcomms division.
  • Comply with all company policies to maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing.

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience working with national and international media.
  • Proven ability to deliver PR campaigns and communications strategies.
  • Strong copywriting and editorial skills for corporate materials and publications.
  • Experience working with high-profile individuals, including executives and talent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
  • Flexible approach to work, including evenings and weekends.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative.
