Interim (Senior) NPD Manager - FTC 12 months, North East in Thorne

Senior NPD Manager; 12 months FTC – North-East    This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, with a dynamic, branded and own-label food business that is looking for a Senior NPD Manager to support the organisation through an exceptionally busy time. The role Effective leadership of the NPD team, with end-to-end remit, spanning Concept to Launch. Manage food safety and product quality systems, to further increase customer confidence, ensuring due diligence and legal compliance. To give clear accountability and expectations of timescales for project completions, enabling the wider team to effectively prioritise projects to ensure good outcomes from a customer and internal business perspective. About you Ideally you will have a Food Science degree or related discipline (or, equivalent NPD experience) Significant NPD experience managing complex food development projects, from concept to launch. A leadership track record managing and nurturing NPD teams. A sound appreciation and a high level of knowledge and understanding in associated food safety and quality management systems, at all stages of the NPD process. Good interpersonal skills and skills in making presentations There is the option to work from home one day a week.  Ideally we are looking for someone to start in the next few weeks, and the duration of the engagement is for 12 months.   This opportunity exists within a subsidiary business of a much larger international food group, and whilst by no means guaranteed, could lead to further opportunity as this organisation continues its journey of growth and expansion.    Applicants must have full eligibility to live and work in the UK.  Visa sponsorship cannot be accommodated, unfortunately
