SPECIFICATIONS TECHNOLOGIST – RAW MATERIALS THE COMPANY As this leading successful food manufacturer continues its dynamic growth journey, it has an opening for a Raw Materials Specifications Technologist to join their busy team, based in Leeds, South Yorkshire. THE ROLE The role is all about the management of Raw Materials Technical data and information. Working closely with internal and external teams, you will validate raw material data received from suppliers to enable retailer specifications to be provided in a timely manner and to deadline. Key to this is the accurate assessment of supplier data to enable appropriate next step action such as returning products to suppliers or gaining further details or clarification. ABOUT YOU Essentially you will have experience in manufacturing and managing raw material technical data. Ideally food/drink/fmcg experience would be highly advantageous. Knowledge of Food Allergens and Risk Assessment would be beneficial also, as well as experience of working with raw materials and all associated Technical data and relevant administrative systems and portals. Attention to detail is key, as is excellent communication skills and project management skills. Equally important is your ability to work at pace in a busy manufacturing environment.
