Role Overview: To support the Ecommerce team in delivering commercial and customer experience objectives through the effective management, optimisation and merchandising of The Fold London website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ecommerce & Site Management
    • Support the execution of product launches, campaigns and trading activity in line with the ecommerce calendar and critical path.
    • Maintain and update homepage content, landing pages, navigation, collection pages and site content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Implement homepage, campaign and content updates using approved creative assets and internal briefs.
    • Manage product setup and optimisation, including imagery, product information, sizing content, product recommendations and cross-sell opportunities.
    • Upload and maintain product imagery, campaign assets and digital content within ecommerce platforms.
    • Conduct regular site audits to ensure content accuracy, product availability and optimal customer experience.
    • Monitor site functionality and user journeys, identifying and escalating issues that may impact conversion or customer experience.
    • Support the management of site search, navigation and filtering to improve product discoverability.
    • Assist with content management and seasonal site refreshes to ensure the website remains visually engaging and aligned with brand standards.
  • Visual Merchandising & Trading
    • Manage category merchandising and product ordering to support commercial objectives and maximise product visibility.
    • Maintain category pages and collection structures in line with trading priorities and stock availability.
    • Implement visual merchandising strategies to optimise product presentation and improve conversion.
    • Manage product badging and promotional messaging, including New In, Limited Edition, Bestseller and Selling Fast.
    • Monitor stock levels, product performance and sell-through rates, highlighting opportunities and risks.
    • Support weekly trading reviews with insights on product performance, category trends and customer behaviour.
    • Assist with seasonal launches, promotional events and sale activity across the website.
  • UX & Customer Experience Optimisation
    • Support ongoing UX improvements by reviewing customer journeys and identifying opportunities to enhance usability and conversion.
    • Assist with A/B testing and optimisation initiatives across landing pages, navigation and merchandising placements.
    • Monitor website performance across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
    • Conduct regular QA testing to ensure a seamless customer experience across browsers and devices.
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure content, functionality and customer journeys meet brand and commercial objectives.
    • Provide recommendations to improve product discovery, engagement and conversion rates.
  • Ecommerce Operations & Reporting
    • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly site health checks, ensuring the website is functioning effectively.
    • Monitor website performance using GA4 and ecommerce reporting tools.
    • Maintain reporting documents covering trading performance, site performance and customer behaviour.
    • Update weekly business reporting with key ecommerce metrics and trading insights.
    • Support testing and QA of website developments, launches and new functionality.
    • Assist with administrative tasks to support the smooth running of ecommerce operations.
  • Campaign & Content Support
    • Coordinate ecommerce assets and content requirements with internal creative teams.
    • Support campaign execution across the website, ensuring all content is launched accurately and on time.
    • Assist with content planning and implementation for seasonal campaigns, product launches and promotional events.
    • Ensure all campaign content aligns with brand guidelines and commercial objectives.

About You:

Experience

  • Previous experience in an ecommerce, online trading, site merchandising or ecommerce assistant role or a Graduate with an interest in ecomm/ digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, BigCommerce or similar ecommerce platforms is advantageous.

  • Understanding of ecommerce operations and online customer journeys.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness with an interest in online trading, customer behaviour and conversion optimisation.
  • Confident using Excel, Google Sheets, GA4 and reporting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative and eager to learn.
  • Interest in fashion, luxury retail and ecommerce.
