The successful Quality Control & Test Technician will have manufacturing sector experience.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical inspection of Martin Audio components and products to meet quality standards (component parts, materials, metalwork, cabinets/woodwork/plastic components) using technical drawings and quality control documents
- Maintaining and delivering Martin Audio\’s quality procedures, standards and specifications
- Maintaining documentation processes and ensuring quality reports are delivered
- Reporting and recording quality issues through quality system methods (8Ds, NCRs)
- Working with the Purchasing Team to establish and maintain supplier quality requirements
- Performing mechanical fault-finding to determine and resolve quality issues
Skills and Experience Required
- Engineering or quality discipline qualifications or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings for inspection purposes
- Proficient PC skills with strong Microsoft Office and Excel experience
- Excellent written communication and report writing skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with methodical, analytical approach
- Strong problem-solving and physical capabilities for daily tasks
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week – 8am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday, with 30min lunchbreak. Occasional overtime may be required.
