Project/Operations Manager – £60-75K + Bonus + Expenses + Car/allowance + Fuel Card – London/SE

This Project Manager role co-ordinates across all delivery aspects of the operations team providing industry technical

support, industry experience and ensuring health and safety/quality management across all remedial and project works.

The individual will have a close working relationship with the Project Director, Service Team and Engineers in order to

manage risk associated with project delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

· Provide technical support to all members of the Sales & Operational teams

· Support Executive Director and Site Engineers with the management of health and safety processes on all

Remedial/Small Works & Installation projects

· Manage quality processes on all Installations to ensure compliance to the relevant standards and strong

customer service.

· Serve as a link between the Executive Director and site staff by supporting with daily site visits throughout the

UK.

· Escalate and highlight any resourcing issues, quality and compliance breaches and health and safety issues in an

accurate and timely manner.

· Attends Project Meetings at the business or customer site.

· Assist with the collation of progress information to a professional standard ensuring project program and

expectations can be managed.

· Leads and facilitates customer discussions on site and provide a link between subcontract/direct Engineers and

Project Team.

· Interacts with Quality Assurance/Regulatory personnel to drive problem reports to closure.

· Participates in cross-functional business process improvement activities as required.

· Works closely together with the Technical Service and Executive Director to gain overall customer satisfaction.

· Applies good industry principles in all areas of responsibility.

· Deliver site level Toolbox talks in a competent manner ensuring all recipients receive and understand clear and

important safety messages.

· Support the business with maintaining the relevant third-party accreditation where required

· Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.

Person Specification:

· More than five years’ experience within the industry

· Strong understanding of all relevant BSEN12845, BS9251 standards, rules/guidance

· Full understanding of health and safety management and lead a strong health and safety culture.

· Comprehensive industry knowledge

· Strong communication/leadership skills

· Strong customer facing skills

· String written and verbal communication

· Self-motivated

· Creative problem solving

· Personality – energy, drive and enthusiasm · Flexible with working hours and ability to work away from home when required · Full UK Driving Licence
