Role Overview :
As the Water Hygiene/Treatment Operations Manager , you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations across a busy and diverse region. You will oversee a team of technicians, ensuring that our water treatment services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards. This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role, focused on the growth, performance, and development of the team, as well as the continuous improvement of operational processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership : Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 20+ technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Operational Management : Oversee the delivery of water hygiene and treatment services across the South East, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Client Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for service enhancements.
- Compliance & Safety : Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Resource Management : Manage staffing levels, equipment, and materials, ensuring the team is equipped with the resources needed to succeed.
- Performance Monitoring : Monitor KPIs and operational performance, providing regular reports to senior management and implementing improvements as required.
- Business Growth : Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities, supporting the sales team, and maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
Skills & Experience :
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the water hygiene/treatment industry or a related field (e.g., facilities management, environmental services).
- Strong operational management skills, with experience overseeing a team of technicians or engineers.
- Excellent understanding of water treatment processes, compliance standards, and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- A full driving license and willingness to travel across the South East.
