We are looking for an evening packer/slicer to join our skilled team. Duties will include slicing and packing all of our bread-based products, as well as packing all items that have been ordered and prepared for our wholesale and Flour Pot Store. Early starts and weekends are part of the job, and you must have your own transport or get here on your own steam. We are always looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable individuals to join our fantastic team! People who can build rapport with ease and continue to give our customers confidence in the fact that every element of their experience at the Flour Pot is being delivered by people that care.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • To be able to pack and slice all bread in accordance to delivery notes and requirements
  • To ensure that all other items required by wholesale and Flour Pot stores are counted, packed, and prepared as per the packing sheets, ensuring that any errors are communicated effectively with the team arriving for the morning shift
  • To ensure that all ingredients required post bake are stocked up and kept tidy at all times
  • To maintain a neat, tidy, clean and organised bakery at all times
  • To ensure that you remain well organised throughout your shift to ensure a smooth shift and handover for the driving team in the morning
  • To assist with the rest of the team, helping with any additional duties to help with the other departments within the bakery

Experience required:

No experience required, but a desire to learn and develop within the bakery team is an essential.
