We are seeking an experienced barista to assist as a key holder across our 12 sites (Brighton, Hove and Worthing).
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Management and teams in the day‑to‑day running of the store.
- Deliver excellent customer service in line with Flour Pot standards.
- Ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all customers.
- Monitor product presentation and quality, ensuring consistent standards.
- Manage stock levels, including ordering and waste control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
- Handle customer feedback professionally and efficiently.
- Open and close the store, including cash handling and reconciliation duties.
- Travel between up to 12 Flour Pot sites, including Brighton, Hove and Worthing; driver preferred; petrol or train/bus fare will be covered for Worthing visits.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café, bakery, or hospitality key holder or supervisory role.
- Passion for food, coffee, and delivering exceptional service.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast‑paced environment.
- Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices (Level 2 Food Safety desirable).
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Barista experience is a strong advantage.
- Experience in a high‑quality café environment and practical knowledge of espresso machines.
- Ability to create a fantastic customer experience and a supportive workplace environment.
