We are looking for a delivery driver to assist with the delivery of our bakery products to both our wholesale customers and Flour Pot stores, twice daily, seven days per week in and around Brighton. We are always looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable individuals to join our fantastic team! People who can build rapport with ease and continue to give our customers confidence in the fact that every element of their experience at the Flour Pot is being delivered by people that care.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- To oversee the packing of the vans prior to delivery, adhering strictly to wholesale and Flour Pot store customers.
- To ensure a timely service, delivering our bakery products to our customers.
- Collect supplies from various outlets and distributors around Brighton.
- To assist with the pack up of online orders.
- To follow the strict driving guidelines in the “Flour Pot Bakery drivers’ policy and protocol handbook” at all times.
- To develop a positive working relationship with the Flour Pot stores, wholesale customers and bakery teams.
- To carry out any other additional duties to assist with the smooth running of the kitchen and operation.
Experience required:
- Be aged 25 years of age or older (for fleet insurance purposes).
- Hold a valid full UK Driving License.
- Have no more than three current penalty points on their driving license.
- Must not have a current drunk driving conviction.
- Due to the early starts you need to get to work under your own initiative.
- The business is based in Portslade, you must be local.
