At The Milk Shed, we’re dedicated to sourcing and roasting exceptional coffee while fostering a culture of sustainability, transparency, and community. As a growing roastery known for our quality, integrity, and innovation, we have launched an exciting new concept on Prince Albert Street, Brighton.
As Site Manager, you will take full ownership of the café’s daily operations, leading from the front to deliver exceptional service, high-quality products, and strong team performance. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the site, from team leadership and customer experience to operational efficiency and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Site Operations & Leadership
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring smooth, efficient service
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team

- Ensure full compliance with health & safety and food hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all areas
- Commercial Performance
- Drive sales through excellent service, team engagement, and upselling
- Monitor labour costs, rotas, and overall site performance
- Support local marketing initiatives and community engagement
- Proven experience in a management role within hospitality, café, or retail
- Strong leadership and team development skills
