The Flooring Co (UK) Ltd is a well-established commercial flooring contractor with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality projects across London and the South East. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our senior team and take ownership of a varied and exciting project portfolio.
You'll manage multiple commercial flooring contracts simultaneously — from tender approval through to final account sign-off. Working closely with our Commercial Manager and Director, you'll be central to how we deliver for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project handovers from pre-contracts through to completion
- Carry out pre-start site surveys and drawing take-offs using industry software
- Procure and allocate materials and labour on a project-by-project basis
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, surveyors and project managers
- Attend site meetings and manage multiple live installations
- Ensure full Health & Safety compliance and produce RAMS documentation
- Process and document variation orders and manage final accounts
- Oversee O&M documentation and project record keeping
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in commercial flooring — essential
- Strong product knowledge across commercial flooring and subfloor preparation
- Confident using Microsoft Office; Callidus or Measure Square desirable
- CSCS card held; SSSTS preferred
- Excellent communicator with strong organisational and people management skills
- A forward planner who makes sound judgements on variations and costs
- £55,000 – £62,000 basic salary
