Our care home, nestled in the picturesque town of Dartmouth in Devon, provides exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 79 residents, offering a serene and supportive environment where quality care meets coastal charm.

What You Will Do
- You will lead and coordinate shifts, ensuring care staff work together to create a smooth and supportive environment.
- You’ll provide hands-on care, supporting residents with dressing, bathing, mobility and personal routines — always prioritising dignity and independence.
- You’ll manage medication administration and documentation with accuracy, while maintaining up-to-date care plans and risk assessments that reflect each resident’s individual needs.
- You’ll play an active role in fostering open, compassionate communication with residents, their families, healthcare professionals and colleagues.
- You’ll welcome visitors, show prospective families around the home, and respond quickly to any emergencies.
- You’ll participate in training, team meetings and personal development activities, always ensuring health and safety standards are followed and concerns are escalated appropriately.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (essential)
- Actively working towards NVQ Level 3 (preferred)
- Medication administration training with current competencies
- Experience leading or mentoring care teams
- A compassionate, respectful, and fun approach to person-centred care
- Strong communication and delegation skills
