Salary: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour

Location: Wakefield, Yorkshire

On-site

Type: 6 month FTC (with potential to go Permanent)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (overtime may be required)

Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join a well-established Food Manufacturing business based in Yorkshire. This is a site-based fixed term contract role, initially with the potential to become permanent after approximately 6 months, subject to business requirements and performance.

As Finance Administrator you will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller. This position plays a key role in supporting the finance function and ensuring accuracy across invoice processing and financial administration.

Responsibilities for the Finance Administrator:

  • Booking invoices into the system accurately and efficiently
  • Checking and confirming invoices have cleared
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with day-to-day finance administration
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assisting with general administrative duties within the finance department

Essential Requirements for the Finance Administrator:

  • Previous administrative experience within Finance preferred
  • Excel experience is a must: not advanced, but definitely more than basic; comfortable with VLOOKUPs, filters, and manipulation of pivot tables
  • Eye for detail and ability to get through data/tasks quickly without hand-holding
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • No formal qualifications are required for this role.
