We’re growing, and we’re looking for experienced Skilled Production Operatives to join the team at The Flava People. We make big, bold flavours for some of the UK’s best-known food brands and retailers – and we need great people who know their way around a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

We’re recruiting across three key skilled roles:

  • Sauce Cook: You’ll be responsible for cooking our sauces and products to the right recipe, quality and specification every time. From following recipes and controlling cook temperatures to completing checks and keeping your area running smoothly, you’ll play a key part in creating the flavour.
  • Batching Operative: Accuracy matters! You’ll be weighing, measuring and preparing ingredients ready for production, making sure every batch is made to the correct recipe and specification. You’ll need a great eye for detail, confidence working with weights and measures, and a strong understanding of food safety.
  • Machine Operator: You’ll take ownership of your production line or machine, setting up equipment, completing checks, monitoring performance and helping to keep production moving safely and efficiently. You’ll also spot and resolve basic issues before they become bigger problems.

What’s on offer?

  • Basic rate: £13.21 per hour
  • We operate across three shifts:
    • 6:00am – 2:00pm
    • 2:00pm – 10:00pm
    • 10:00pm – 6:00am
  • Night shifts are paid at Time & Quarter
  • Overtime available at Time & Half

What we’re looking for:

  • Have experience in food manufacturing, production or a similar fast-paced environment
  • Have previous experience in sauce cooking, batching, mixing/blending or machine operation
  • Understand the importance of food safety, quality and hygiene
  • Can follow recipes, specifications, procedures and production paperwork accurately
  • Are confident working as part of a busy production team
  • Take pride in doing things properly – quality matters to us!
  • Are reliable, hands-on and ready to get stuck in
