Salary: £30-40k / FTE depending on experience

Please note we are only accepting candidates who have a portfolio full of packaging design, specifically well-known household brands in the portfolio such as food, drinks, DIY, cleaning products etc. Brands that fly off the supermarket shelves and are widely recognised.

Our client is a leading Brand/Packaging agency, offering free parking and close proximity to the train station. Established over 30 years ago, they lead strategy, design, and artwork projects for major FMCG brands (mainly food and drinks), covering big new brand launches and refreshes to innovative extensions and flavour variants.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative Midweight to join the team, creating visually engaging, commercially effective packaging across a range of products, ensuring designs align with brand guidelines and client requirements. This is a flexible role that is open to part-time (3 days a week on site) or full-time (hybrid with a minimum of 3 days on site).

Key Responsibilities

  • A particular focus on concept rollout across variants and formats, taking over projects from initial concepts and leading through to pre-production.
  • Support with physical mock-ups, presentations, and visual assets.
  • Keeping an eye on the detail - ensuring designs at all stages of development meet the brief, are free from typos, and comply with packaging regulations (liaising with our production team).

Skills & Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Brand guardianship.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and design fundamentals.
  • Good understanding of print processes and packaging production.
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of packaging design experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A positive 'Can-do' manner.
