Are you a detail-driven Technical Designer who loves bringing creative ideas into the real world? We’re partnering with an award-winning creative design and manufacturing studio based just outside Brighton, and they’re looking for someone who can bridge the gap between concept and build. This is a hands-on, fast-paced environment where no two projects are the same — from high-impact retail window displays and immersive pop-ups to bespoke in-store installations and live events.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in turning creative concepts into fully realised, buildable solutions. Working closely with designers and in-house production teams, you’ll ensure ideas are not only visually exciting but technically sound and ready for manufacture.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Translating creative concepts into detailed technical drawings and production-ready designs
  • Working across a wide range of materials including wood, metal, acrylic, and more
  • Collaborating with workshop teams (woodworking, metalwork, props, upholstery, signage, etc.)
  • Supporting projects from initial brief through to final installation
  • Problem-solving and refining designs to ensure efficient and high-quality builds

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical or production design role
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and SketchUp
  • A solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and construction methods
  • A practical mindset with a passion for how things are made
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

With a fully equipped in-house workshop, they offer end-to-end design and manufacturing — from concept through to installation.
