The Fix Creative is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, award-winning healthcare communications agency for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on delivering projects, building strong client relationships and keeping multiple workstreams moving. About the role: This is a replacement role within an established team, offering the chance to take ownership of a varied portfolio of healthcare communications projects. Although this is very much a Project Management role, you’ll also enjoy building trusted relationships with clients and acting as their day-to-day contact throughout the project lifecycle.

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • A Project Manager within a healthcare communications agency (our ideal background)
  • A Project Manager from a patient engagement, medical education, healthcare advertising or clinical trials communications agency
  • An Account Manager with strong project management responsibilities who enjoys the delivery side of agency life
  • A hybrid Account Manager/Project Manager looking to specialise further in project delivery
  • A Senior Account Executive ready to take the next step in your career

What we’re looking for: You’ll be someone who is:

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Proactive, resourceful and solutions-focused
  • A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Naturally collaborative and able to build strong client relationships
  • Commercially aware
  • Dependable and accountable
  • Experienced in coordinating multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing projects from initial brief through to final delivery
  • Developing and maintaining project plans and timelines
  • Coordinating internal teams and external suppliers
  • Leading project meetings
  • Managing budgets, project scope and timelines
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Building trusted, long-term client relationships
  • Acting as the day-to-day client contact
  • Ensuring all work is delivered to the highest possible standard

Salary & Location: £35,000–£38,000 depending on experience. Hybrid working. Applicants should be within commuting distance of Cambridge for regular office attendance.
