The Fix are working with a leading scenery construction production company to help find their next Senior Project Manager. They create extraordinary experiences for their clients and push the creative and inspire. The ideal Senior Project Manager will have experience across theatre, immersive experiences, events, mini activations and set design. Their work is top class and with very well-known acts and companies. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing scenic agency who are passionate individuals and eager to contribute to groundbreaking projects, and help continue to make the impossible possible!

5 days a week onsite is essential – this is the only way to get stuck in and learn and be inspired by the work they do.

What will you be doing?

As a project manager you will be responsible for taking a design from concept, through planning and execution, to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Independent management of projects from initial concept through to completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Generate and refine quotes and scope initial scheduling.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and schedules, keeping clients and stakeholders up to date with progress.
  • Oversee multiple projects, collaborating with the team to deliver to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication with the entire team and clients.
  • Production of detailed technical designs to enable workshop fabrication.
  • Development and specification of suitable build methods, techniques, and materials.
  • Tracking progress, managing changes, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Required skills:

  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
  • Demonstrable experience of project management within a workshop environment or similar.
  • Strong track record of successful relationship building.
  • Commercial acumen, and confidence with negotiation.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player who isn’t afraid of getting stuck in and collaborating with others.
  • Ability to adapt and keep on track with ever-changing specifications.
