We are seeking a motivated and highly organised individual to join our busy secondary school. The successful candidate will be professional, confidential and an effective communicator, with a strong eye for detail. While experience in HR is desirable, it is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient HR administrative support across day-to-day operations
  • Maintain accurate HR systems and staff records in line with data protection requirements
  • Coordinate and support recruitment processes, including interviews, documentation, and onboarding
  • Carry out safer recruitment checks (e.g. DBS, references)
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters, and manage onboarding and leaver processes
  • Submit accurate payroll changes for starters, leavers, and contract updates
  • Monitor and record staff absence and leave
  • Respond to HR queries promptly, professionally, and confidentially
