We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Assistant Beverage Manager, you will support the Director of Food and Beverage in overseeing all aspects of our beverage operations, ensuring an extraordinary experience for our guests. You will be involved in staff training, inventory management, menu development, and day-to-day operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone with a refined palate, strong leadership skills, and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing bar and beverage operations, ensuring consistent quality and service standards.
- Support the creation and execution of innovative beverage menus, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic offerings.
- Supervise, train, and mentor bar staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitor inventory, control costs, and maintain stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create cohesive food and beverage pairings.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to enhance brand visibility.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience (minimum of one year) as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and point of sale (POS) systems.
- A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
Desirable criteria:
- Third level education in a related field.
