We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Wedding & Events Coordinator to join the friendly and professional team at The Manor in Greasby. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating unforgettable weddings and special events in a beautiful venue setting. This position will also involve supporting our sister venue, The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa, so occasional travel between both sites is required. Due to this, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential. The role is based on 32 hours per week across 4 days, with some flexibility required. Evening and weekend availability will be needed to support bi-monthly open evenings and pre-arranged client meetings.
About the Role
This is a predominantly administrative role within the weddings and events department, focused on coordinating enquiries, managing bookings, and supporting clients throughout their planning journey. You will provide a warm, professional and efficient service from initial enquiry through to final handover to the operations team, helping to uphold the high standards and reputation of both venues.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking someone with a positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will be highly organised, confident and personable, with excellent communication skills and a strong eye for detail. Previous experience in a similar weddings or events role within the hospitality industry is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and administration of weddings and events from initial enquiry through to completion
- Deliver a professional, friendly and responsive service to all clients and enquiries
- Build strong relationships with clients to understand and support their event vision
- Conduct engaging show rounds for prospective customers
- Manage all communication via telephone, email and face-to-face to a high standard
- Carry out detailed event planning and administration, ensuring a smooth handover to the on-site operations team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date booking systems and event records
- Liaise with clients to gather all relevant details and requirements for their event
- Ensure all enquiries are followed up promptly, and contracts are issued within agreed timeframes
- Maximise revenue opportunities through proactive follow-up and upselling
- Monitor guest satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- Work closely with all departments to support smooth and successful event delivery
