We have an exciting opportunity to join our kitchen team at the Fish Shop Restaurant and Fishmongers as a Commis Chef working closely with our Executive Chef, Marcus Sherry, and team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong passion for excellent food and a desire to develop your cooking skills. You will learn and gain experience on each section of our kitchen.
As Commis Chef you will be responsible for:
- Preparing the mis-en-place for the section assigned to you according to a list given to you by the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie.
- Ensuring the quality of food preparation is of the exceptional standard.
- Ensuring effective communication within the team.
- Assisting on other sections or help with other duties when required.
- Ensuring the cleanliness, organisation, and standards of the section.
