About the Firm

Our client, a leading global investment management firm, are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate / Manager to join the Product Management, Development, and Transition Team in London. The role involves the end-to-end product and project management of fund launches, product changes, and transitions, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient execution and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Project Manage Fund Launches & Changes : Lead and coordinate the full lifecycle of new fund launches, closures, mergers, and other product-related changes across UCITS and OEIC fund structures.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with internal teams including Investments, Legal, Operations, Compliance, and Distribution, as well as external service providers such as fund administrators, depositaries, and regulatory bodies.
• Fund Onboarding & Transitions : Oversee the onboarding of new investment mandates, share class launches, and transitions of assets into new fund structures, ensuring all operational and regulatory requirements are met.
• Regulatory & Governance Oversight : Ensure that all fund changes comply with FCA, CSSF, and other relevant European regulations, contributing to the preparation of fund documentation and regulatory filings.
• Process Optimisation : Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiencies in fund transitions and product lifecycle management.
• Client & Investor Communication : Support the preparation of investor notices, board materials, and key updates for clients and external partners.
• Risk & Issue Management : Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with fund transitions, ensuring timely resolution of any operational challenges.

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience : c.10 years of experience in asset management – fund operations, product management, or fund transitions, ideally within UCITS and OEIC structures.
• Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of fund structures, investment vehicles, regulatory requirements, and operational processes related to fund launches and transitions.
• Project Management Skills : Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects with tight deadlines in a structured and organised manner.
• Stakeholder Management : Experience working with senior internal stakeholders and external partners, including legal counsel, fund administrators, and regulators.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Ability : Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive decision-making across cross-functional teams.
• Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to different audiences.
• Qualifications : IMC, CFA, or project management qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
