We’re looking for a high-impact operator to report to the COO (and work closely with the CEO) of this international, PE-backed consulting & advisory business to continue to drive strategic alignment, operational excellence, and a high-performance culture across the business. What You’ll Do
- This is a newly created role, so first you will work closely with the COO to agree the areas of responsibility and priorities based around your respective skills and expertise.
- You will work closely with 30+ UK department heads as well as communicating, listening and working with global stakeholders to ensure that the design, implementation and delivery of strategic plans including analysing operational and budgetary progress and outcomes.
- Drive a high-performance culture and ensure teams stay aligned with strategic priorities.
- Partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver divisional strategy, tracking progress and driving improvement.
- Represent the CEO/COO in key internal and external meetings, ensuring clarity, influence, and strong follow-through.
- Oversee daily operations — ensuring efficiency, compliance, risk management, and consistent standards across the division.
- Lead cross-functional projects and support financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Produce high-quality reports, presentations, and leadership communications that guide decision-making.
Person Requirements
The successful candidate is likely to be a graduate and/or professionally qualified, but could come from a variety of backgrounds. You may have qualified/practiced in areas as diverse as finance, legal, commercial, operations, consulting, people and more - but the key is your positive attitude to continuous improvement and your commitment to delivering it while developing strong stakeholder relationships at all levels through to Board.
