PE-backed, international, market leading medium-sized manufacturer requires a commercial, proven senior finance professional to support the business through an exciting period of change to take advantage of a number of growth opportunities.
About the Role
Reporting into the CFO, the role will work closely with the CEO, Board and PE House. It is initially envisaged the role will be on an ongoing, fractional basis (3 days per week) but this could increase to full time. The exact nature and balance of responsibilities will be partly moulded by the successful candidate and how their expertise fits with that of the CFO, but duties will be based around…
Responsibilities
- Daily cashflow management and reporting
- Supplier engagement, communication and negotiation
- Production of monthly management accounts including detailed variance analysis to budget/forecast with commercial commentary and tie back to 13 week, rolling cashflow.
- Support in the development & delivery of the annual budget (FY 2026/27)
- Assist in the preparation of YE accounts in preparation for the annual audit
- Support the completion of a new analysis platform and process
- Support the finance team and the wider business
- Ad hoc reporting, analysis and project support as required
Qualifications And Skills
- Holder of a relevant, professional, finance qualification – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Extensive experience operating at a senior level within a finance function – e.g. FD, CFO or similar
- Organised, pro-active and an effective problem solver and communicator
- Able to hit the ground running
- Available to start at short notice and commit to an initial 3 month duration
