Our client are an industry leading experiential and shopper marketing agency who manage all in-store and out-of-store experiential events and activations for some of the most well known FMCG and retail brands.
Role Purpose
They’re now looking for a commercially driven, creatively minded Account Director with a passion for experiential marketing, social-first storytelling, and retail innovation. You’ll lead the strategic development and delivery of immersive brand experiences for major clients. From in-store activations to integrated experiential and social campaigns, you’ll bring brands to life while identifying new business opportunities, leading pitches, and growing account value.
Key Responsibilities
- Client & Account Development
- Own and grow a portfolio of key client accounts, managing relationships independently
- Identify opportunities to increase spend and expand services through strategic account planning
- Confidently lead client meetings, presentations, and budget discussions
- Develop proposals and solutions aligned to client objectives, brand strategy, and market insight
- Exceed agreed revenue and growth targets while managing objections effectively
- Sales, Pitches & Commercials
- Articulate their proposition with confidence and impact
- Lead and contribute to pitches, proposals, and creative briefs
- Manage complex quotations, margins, and financial processes, supporting junior team members
- Internal Collaboration
- Act as a key contact across Experiential and Smart Mass Sampling teams
- Work closely with Creative, Marketing, and Campaign Management to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget
- Ensure clear communication of KPIs, timelines, and commercial requirements
- Leadership
- Coach and support junior team members, leading by example
- Champion collaborative working across departments and maintain strong internal relationships
Experience & Skills
- Proven account management experience, ideally within an experiential agency
- Strong track record of client growth and new business development
- Excellent presentation, communication, and organisational skills
- Commercially astute, collaborative, and able to manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Consistent history of achieving targets and identifying growth opportunities.
