Event Production Manager Role:
They are now seeking an experienced and highly capable Event Production Manager to join their team in Bagshot, Surrey. This is a pivotal role responsible for the end-to-end specification, procurement, and delivery of all technical and production elements across their events portfolio.
You will transform creative concepts into technically robust, commercially sound, and flawlessly executed live experiences — ensuring excellence from initial brief through to final de-rig.
Key Responsibilities or Event Production Manager:
- Partner with clients and internal creative teams to translate briefs into practical, technically viable production solutions.
- Develop comprehensive production budgets and schedules, leveraging strong supplier relationships to secure best value.
- Oversee all on-site production elements including AV, staging, lighting, rigging, and logistics — managing installation through to breakdown.
- Act as the senior on-site production lead, coordinating event managers, suppliers, venues, and clients.
- Proactively manage and resolve challenges, adapting plans swiftly to maintain seamless delivery.
- Build and maintain a trusted supplier network, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and health & safety standards across all projects.
- Drive continuous improvement of production processes to uphold consistently high standards.
Skills & Experience of Event Production Manager:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex events and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- International event experience desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of audio-visual and live production solutions.
- Comprehensive understanding of health & safety legislation and on-site compliance.
- Financially astute with demonstrable experience managing production budgets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and standard business systems.
- Skilled negotiator with strong supplier management capability.
- Experience using CAD software for technical drawings (advantageous).
- Confident presenter, able to communicate clearly and persuasively at all levels.
