Deliver training in electrical and electronic engineering principles according to established training plans and operating procedures.

Maintain and update training documentation to reflect current standards and practices.

Assess trainees’ coursework, providing constructive feedback on their performance.

Ensure trainees’ welfare and duty of care throughout training delivery.

Perform maintenance on training equipment within the scope of qualifications and experience.

Adhere to security, health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
This position is ideal for a candidate with consolidated technical expertise and instructional experience, particularly in a military or civilian environment., * Level 4 Teaching Qualification or equivalent (e.g., Defence Train the Trainer Course).

Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

Proficiency with IT systems and tools in the workplace.
Desirable:

Experience teaching electrical theory, electrical safety, power distribution, high voltage systems, electrical maintenance, and related disciplines.

Previous instructional experience within the last five years, ideally in marine electrical and electronic systems.

Familiarity with course development for technical training., * Hands-on experience in electrical and electronic engineering principles within the past five years.

Knowledge of marine systems, including power distribution, electrical test equipment, and high voltage systems.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, trainees, and stakeholders.
