In this role you will drive strategic, data-informed marketing for FT Live events, focusing on Legal and Retail portfolios. You will craft multi-channel campaigns to grow awareness, audience reach and delegate revenue, collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will balance creative messaging with analytics to optimise campaigns and partnerships, shaping premier event experiences for senior decision-makers. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver data-led, multi-channel marketing strategies to raise event awareness and delegate attendance
  • Identify and target new audience segments using insights to refine messaging
  • Create value propositions and audience messaging aligned with event objectives
  • Manage marketing budgets and optimise ROI
  • Identify data gaps and build lead-generation strategies for revenue growth
  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across email, web, digital and print plus SEO, social media and content marketing
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce engaging digital content and assets
  • Manage and optimise event websites for a seamless user journey
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with media organisations, industry associations and community groups
  • Contribute to community and content strategies to strengthen engagement and loyalty
  • Explore cross-promotion opportunities for events
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust tactics to optimise results
  • Conduct post-event analysis to derive insights for future strategies
  • Track marketing ROI and identify opportunities to improve audience acquisition and retention
  • Partner with Content, Delegate Sales, Commercial Sales and Operations to deliver a cohesive event experience
  • Collaborate with design, data and performance specialists to execute high-impact campaigns

Key requirements

  • 3 years experience or equivalent in B2B marketing, ideally in events, media or agency
  • Experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong commercial approach combining creativity with data
  • Experience building professional audiences using data and insights
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Digital-first with experience of CRM platforms, marketing automation tools and analytics platforms
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics and digital performance metrics
  • Experience with marketing technologies and AI marketing tools where relevant
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship management skills
