  • The Internal Communications Manager delivers high-quality communications and events that connect colleagues to the FT Group’s priorities.
  • Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, they join a fast-paced, collaborative global team, working with colleagues across the organisation to bring our strategy to life.
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to teams and senior leaders, they create a steady drumbeat of communications aligned to FT2030 and ensure initiatives are clearly understood across the business.
  • The role coordinates our core internal channels and events, maintaining high standards across our intranet and internal platforms and helping colleagues feel informed, connected and engaged.
  • Plan and deliver communications across core internal channels, including all-staff and UK regional newsletters, Slack and Inside FT.
  • Run and maintain the FT Group intranet (LumApps), supporting content owners with page structure and design to ensure clarity, consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Deliver internal events for UK and global colleagues, including town halls, talks programmes and occasional social events.
  • Partner with business leaders and project teams to develop clear, engaging messaging that resonates with colleagues.
  • Track engagement and produce clear reports on the impact of internal communications activity, using insights to improve future campaigns and channels.
