Role Overview
FT Live is currently recruiting for a motivated and dedicated individual as a Marketing Executive. You will be responsible for ensuring that we consistently attract the highest quality attendees to our flagship virtual and hybrid events, deliver delegate revenue and efficiently implement FT Live’s marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Planning & Execution: Assisting with outbound marketing campaigns across a range of channels. Creating and driving outbound marketing campaigns across websites, email marketing, digital advertising, SEO optimisation, social and traditional media, influencers and PR. Planning, coordinating and implementing effective 12-month marketing plans. Drafting and collaborating with the performance team on social plans for each event. Building and updating event microsites using the CMS. Designing and deploying compelling email campaigns.
- Event Delivery Support: Share assets, delegate lists and event statistics with sponsors pre and post-event. Handle virtual and in-person event delivery from a marketing perspective.
- Campaign Analysis & Reporting: Using data analytics to measure audience engagement and delegate acquisition. Conduct weekly campaign analysis and create internal and external post-event reports.
Required Experience/ Skills:
- 2 years of professional marketing experience preferably in events and/or in a media organisation.
- A flexible, adaptable and organised approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of SEO and excellent copywriting skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills.
- A high degree of accuracy in work practices.
- Ability to build data sets on CRM platforms.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in providing administrative support.
- Strong communicator with experience in building relationships across all levels of business.
- Self-Development: Actively seeks new ways to grow and be challenged.
- Proficiency with Google Doc, Sheets and Microsoft Office Excel.
