The Filo Project CIC is looking for a friendly, organised and community-minded Community Connector to join our team. As a Community Connector, you'll help us build strong relationships with local organisations, professionals and community groups, making sure that people who could benefit from The Filo Project know about the support we offer. You'll be a friendly face and an important link between Filo, local communities, our clients, our hosts and the organisations we work alongside . No two days will necessarily be the same. You might be meeting with a local community organisation, attending a networking event, visiting a potential client at home, completing an assessment, or working with colleagues to make sure our local Filo groups continue to meet the needs of the people attending them. What will you be doing? With support from our Service Manager, Deputy Service Manager and Area Coordinators, you'll help to: Raise awareness of The Filo Project and the support we provide. Build positive relationships with local health and social care services, voluntary and community organisations, professionals and other local partners. Develop new connections and opportunities for referrals. Help people who may benefit from Filo to access our services. Build and maintain relationships with existing partners and stakeholders. Identify opportunities to grow our community connections and local partnerships. Attend networking events, community events, workshops and information sessions to tell people about Filo. Connect with potential future Filo hosts.
