The predicted salary is between 46300 - 52800 Β£ per year.

We are looking for a Lighting Supervisor who reflects the collaborative mindset, creative talent and passion for great filmmaking. The Lighting Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Lighting TDs to create, direct and reflect lighting and shadows that meet the creative direction and vision of the project. This role has shared accountability for the management and deliverables of the Lighting department utilising research, development, and implementation of new techniques when necessary.

Role Type: Full-time

Requirements:

  • Ability to plan and execute complex 3D lighting scenes
  • Extensive management experience of large teams (10+ team members) with proven interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
  • Demonstrable experience of mentoring and developing artists
  • Thinks analytically and innovatively
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux, Python and shell scripting required
  • Relevant knowledge of color theory, composition, lighting and aesthetics
  • Strong working knowledge of various software platforms including Katana, Maya, Nuke, or any other high end CG or compositing software
  • Highly proficient in technical problem solving, debugging and optimizing renders
  • A self-starter with the proven ability to initiate and complete new projects
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects, work with diverse personalities and work within strict deadlines
  • A personable individual who can build strong relationships and inspire their team

This role is Hybrid, which means the employee will be required to work 2 days on-site per week at a Company designated location, and occasionally from home.
