Base pay range
The UK screen sector is a vibrant, dynamic place to work – but for many people behind the scenes, it can also be precarious and demanding. Freelance working patterns, tight deadlines, and long hours can all contribute to significant mental, physical and financial pressures.
For over a century, the Film and TV Charity has stood behind the people who make the magic happen – supporting everyone from runners and camera assistants to producers and VFX artists. Through a unique combination of practical services, financial relief, and sector-wide advocacy, we\’re working to build a kinder, fairer industry in which everyone can thrive.
Now, we\’re looking for a Head of Finance and Operations to join the senior leadership team and play a vital role in delivering that ambition. This role sits at the heart of the organisation, leading the charity’s finance, operations, IT and compliance functions. You’ll oversee a small team and make sure that our people, systems and resources are aligned for long-term sustainability and maximum impact.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on finance and operations leader who thrives in collaborative environments and brings a strong sense of purpose. You don’t need prior experience in the screen sector – but you do need sharp financial acumen, a commitment to values-led leadership, and a passion for enabling work that changes lives.
