Chef de Partie to join our farmshop & kitchen team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about great food, local produce and seasonal cooking , and who wants to play an important role in creating a welcoming destination that people love to visit.

Working closely with our Head Chef and wider kitchen team, you'll take responsibility for your section, ensuring consistently high standards of food preparation, cooking and presentation.

You'll champion fresh, seasonal ingredients, support the smooth running of the kitchen, and help us deliver an exceptional experience for every guest.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Taking responsibility for your designated kitchen section and ensuring it runs smoothly throughout service.
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard, following our recipes and kitchen standards.
  • Completing daily mise en place and ensuring your section is fully prepared for service.
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver an efficient and well-organised service.
  • Making the most of fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce, including ingredients from our own farm where available.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of seasonal dishes and specials.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of food quality, presentation, portion control and consistency.
  • Ensuring your section is kept clean, organised and fully stocked throughout service.
  • Following all food safety, hygiene, health & safety and allergen procedures.
  • Monitoring stock levels on your section, supporting stock rotation and helping to minimise food waste.
  • Supporting deliveries, preparation and storage of ingredients when required.
  • Working efficiently during busy services while maintaining a calm, positive and professional approach.
  • Supporting and mentoring Commis Chefs and other kitchen team members when required.
  • Contributing ideas and enthusiasm to help continually improve our food, kitchen operation and guest experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working as a

Chef de Partie , or in a similar professional kitchen role.

  • A genuine passion for cooking, quality food and seasonal ingredients.
  • Good knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • A strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures.
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and consistently maintains high standards.
  • Organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure during busy services.
  • A positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively with chefs and the wider team.
  • An enthusiasm for local food, farming and making the most of great seasonal produce.
  • Someone with the creativity, drive and passion to contribute ideas and make a real difference in the kitchen.
