We are looking for a Qualified Tiler to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting a programme of refurbishment and maintenance works across the hotel. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to contribute to maintaining the high standards our guests expect, working within a beautiful and historic Cambridge setting.
A Qualified Tiler is always working on behalf of our Guests and with other Team Members, across all hotel departments. To successfully fulfil this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Key responsibilities (A Non-exhaustive List):
- Install, repair, and maintain tiling across guest rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard
- Prepare surfaces correctly prior to tiling, ensuring longevity and quality of finish
- Work to agreed project timescales, minimising disruption to hotel operations and guests
- Liaise closely with the Maintenance and Facilities team to prioritise works
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations
- Maintain tools and equipment safely and appropriately and report any material or resource requirements
- Support wider maintenance duties as required during quieter periods
Requirements:
- UK citizen or valid work permit
- Proven experience as a qualified tiler, ideally within a hotel, hospitality, or similar commercial setting
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience
- A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes
- Ability to work flexibly and manage own workload across multiple areas of the hotel
- Strong communication skills and a professional, guest-conscious approach
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to be part of a wider team
