The Role
As Breakfast Chef you will be responsible for working with fresh, high-quality ingredients, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering an excellent breakfast service for our hotel guests.
You will take pride in producing consistently high-quality food while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, presentation and food safety.
. You will be reporting directly to the Head Chef, Sous Chef and CDP. You will help create memorable experiences for guests, whenever they dine.
You will keep kitchen maintenance and inventory functions to high standards and ensure your kitchen section is always running smoothly and kept clean and tidy.
- Key Responsibilities for the Breakfast Chef (A non-exhaustive List) are:
- Prepare and cook a high-quality breakfast service using fresh ingredients.
- Prepare a range of breakfast dishes, including cooked breakfast items, eggs, pastries and other menu requirements.
- Ensure food is prepared, presented and served to a consistently high standard.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards at all times.
- Complete preparation and kitchen duties efficiently before and during service.
- Monitor food quality, freshness and portion control.
- Work closely with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a smooth breakfast service.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.
- Assist with stock rotation, storage and minimising food waste.
- Follow all hotel and kitchen procedures.
- Ensure food presentation is followed according to recipes and standards
About You
You are a Motivated Person that has passion for our industry. This role really has the potential for you to develop within our kitchen team.
You will
- Have Previous experience working as a chef, ideally within a hotel or busy kitchen environment.
- Be passionate about fresh food and delivering high-quality dishes.
- Be able to work efficiently under pressure during busy breakfast services.
- Hold good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Be reliable, organised and a strong team player.
- Have a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and early mornings.
- Hold a positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
